Renny W. Grilz, Watershed Coordinator

Renny is from a family farm near St. Benedict, SK.  He has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan, majoring in Plant Ecology with a minor in Crop Science.  Renny has worked across the three prairie provinces managing conservation lands and working with landoowners and producers in managing their lands for wildlife and biodiversity.  He has worked for Ducks Unlimited Canada, Nature Conservancy of Canada and the Canadian Wildlife Service. Renny has served on numerous boards over the years including the Native Plant Society of Saskatchewan and the Alberta Land Trust Alliance.  He is currently on the Saskatchewan Invasive Species Council and is Chair of the Prairie Parkland Chapter of the Society for Range Management. Renny currently lives in Aberdeen with his wife and three kids.

Kerry Lowndes, West South Agri-Environmental Group Plan (AEGP) Technician
Kerry grew up on the family farm near Kelvington, Sask. She received her Bachelor degree in Agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan majoring in Agronomy. Kerry has worked in many areas of agriculture including research, education, land assessment, environmental contracting & finance.
After many years in Tisdale, Kerry and her husband moved to Kindersley in the fall of 2009. She teaches piano, is the local Royal Conservatory of Music rep and does administrative work for the Northwest & Southwest branchs of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists.  Kerry started working with the South Sask Agri-Environmental Group Plan in May of 2012.
 

Leah Tallis, Sask Valley Agri-Environmental Group Plan (AEGP) Technican
Leah grew up on a mixed farm near the small community of Woodrow, SK.  She attended the University of Saskatchewan where she received a Bachelor degree in Agriculture, with a major in Environmental Science.  Leah has worked in several different aspects of the agriculture profession, including research, habitat management, grain export as well as reclamation.
Currently, Leah lives north of Dalmeny with her husband and three small children.  She is a busy working mom but still manages to find time to ride her horses, run and be an active volunteer in her community.  Leah has been working for the South Saskatchewan River Watershed Stewards as the South Sask AEGP Technician since September of 2011.
