The SSRWSI is proud to work closely with governments, municipalities, and environmental non-government organizations to promote environmental protection and stewardship in the South Saskatchewan River Basin. 
 






 

Water Security Agency (formerly Saskatchewan Watershed Authority)  is responsible for managing watershed and aquifer planning, developing partnerships and projects that help provide healthy watersheds and providing assessment and monitoring practices that ensure the protection and restoration of the province's water sources. SWA works together with the South Saskatchewan River Watershed Stewards and provides important funding to implement the goals and key actions of the Source Water Protection Plan.                                                   




 

The City of Saskatoon is actively involved in protecting our water source through their involvement and support for the South Saskatchewan River Watershed Stewards (SSRWSI) and the Source Water Protection Plan. As the largest municipality in the watershed, the City of Saskatoon has two representatives on the SSRWSI board of directors.


 

The Meewasin Valley Authority is a conservation organization dedicated to conserving the natural and cultural heritage resources of the South Saskatchewan River Valley in Saskatoon.


The Go Green Saskatchewan initiative is committed to helping homeowners, communities, schools, hospitals and businesses Go Green.


As Saskatchewan's commercial Crown water utility, SaskWater encourages water conservation practices as the quality of water in our rivers, lakes and underground.

Whitecap is a modern and progressive First Nation with a proud culture, a strong sense of community and a keen interest in establishing mutually beneficial relationships in support of economic development.
The Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association is a federation of urban governments, which advocates, negotiates and initiates improvements in local, provincial and federal legislation, programs and services to enhance urban life in Saskatchewan.
The School of Envrionment and Sustainability delivers master and doctoral level programs that emphasize the integrative nature of environmental challenges, the benefit of interdisciplinary understandings, and how sustainability is conceptualized and made operational across a range of topics.
The Saskatchewan Environmental Society is committed to supporting sustainable living and sustainable resource use in Saskatchewan.  They are working with local Watershed Advisory Committees to move the province toward watershed-based planning and governance for effective protections and improvements in the quality of our watersheds, ecosystems, and drinking water quality.
Nature Saskatchewan speaks for the protection and preservation of natural eco-systems and their biodiversity through research and viable conservation practices and connects nature and culture through outreach programs and services.
 
SSRWS is a member of The Saskatchewan Eco Network (SEN). SEN is a non-profit, non-government organization that connects environmentalists - within the province and across Canada - promoting active networking among member groups.
Saskatchewan Environmental Industry and Managers' Association (SEIMA) is a provincial association of companies and individuals within the environment industry whose members consist of environmental companies and environmental managers from various economic sectors such as mining, forestry, agriculture and governments as well as product and service providers to the industry.
The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities is the independent association that represents rural municipal government interests in Saskatchewan.
